Kathleen Kirchner
Kathleen is a Research Assistant. Her research interests include atomistic simulations of room temperature ionic liquids and molten alkali halides in connection with carbon nanomaterials. Structural and orientational analysis to understand the molecular mechanisms of double layer formation and the reaction of a highly ionic substance at charged surfaces. Development of a computational tool for analyzing and profiling interfaces in molecular systems. Kathleen is currently working in the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, Germany. Tel: +49 (0) 341 9959 722 |

Tom Kirchner
Tom is a Research Assistant. His work uses fully atomistic molecular dynamics to probe the behaviour of small organic and inorganic molecules in different solvents in a wide range of ambient conditions. Tom is currently working in the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, Germany. Tel: +49 (0) 341 9959 794 |
